Because even in its most infinitesimal state, seemingly static, life is pure motion -- a splendidly kinetic amalgamation of light and time, energy, thought and emotion.  As an artist, in order to harness its beauty, even at its most ugly, raw or silly moments, observations have to be translated into a single expression, a solitary frame encapsulating a breadth of action.
